Indian Summer In The City

Dialogue

Over the past two years Linda has created a set of images representing life in major cities.
Of the ten pieces she has created all but the four latest ones have be acquired.
In Indian’s Summer In The City, you may see displays of the colourful  mortifies of North American Indian paintings superimposed on the silhouette of a modern city.
On the left of the painting buried in the city scape is the stylized profile of the stereotypical native.
In sky above you could see abstracted images of leaves falling, an autumn moon and flocks of birds migrating.
And then there are those building clogging the skyline, emitting grunge into the air and taking over all the free space to roam.
